OUR STORY

How we started

 

The passion for arts and craft for me started when I was 15 years old.  I've always liked making something out of nothing.  When I got married in 2002, I created all my decorations, invitations, party favors, and all the other small things that you do for weddings.  Because people liked my invitation, they started ordering from me.  That's how we started Emshel Designs.  Emshel is a combination of my husband's name (Emerson) and my name (Sheilla).

About the Company

​​In 2009, I started adding more products to my online store.  I made hand-made greeting cards and distributed them to different stores.  Then in 2010, I created the 3D Canvas.  I painted it, added pictures to it and put it on another canvas to add the 3D effect, added heart-felt phrases and gave it to my family as gifts.  From there, people started ordering from me.  Now, this is the main product Emshel Designs sell.  It's very personalized and unique.
